Description

The Ugears Mechanical Model Cash Register turns saving money into a hands-on mechanical experience. First, build the detailed wooden model from 405 precision-cut pieces. Then, use its working levers, counter, coin detector and note feeder to store your savings.

This clever model accepts coins from 10 to 35 mm wide, which suits many coins used around the world. To add a coin, place it in the slot and move the lever. The mechanism then counts the coin and drops it into the cashbox.

The automatic note feeder adds even more mechanical fun. Simply move the lever up and down ten times to wind the rubber-band motor. Next, place notes into the slot and watch the register pull in three or four notes.

In addition, the model includes separate locked sections for coins and notes. You can set and change your own code with the built-in lock. When you enter the correct code and turn the key, the cashbox opens and the counter resets.

The laser-cut plywood pieces fit together without glue or special tools. As a result, builders can enjoy both the challenge of assembly and the reward of a working display model. Its detailed vintage design also makes it an eye-catching piece for a desk, shelf or games room.
