Create colourful pictures one piece at a time with the Kaper Kidz Tap a Shape activity set. Children can arrange the wooden shapes on the cork board, then gently tap the pins into place with the included wooden hammers.
The set includes 126 wooden shapes, 100 pins, 2 wooden hammers and 1 cork board. In addition, the mix of shapes and colours gives children plenty of freedom to create people, houses, trees, patterns and their own imaginative designs.
As children plan and build each picture, they practise hand-eye coordination and fine motor control. They also explore early problem-solving skills because they need to decide which pieces will fit their design.
Once a picture is complete, the pieces can be removed and used again. Therefore, the set offers lots of repeat play rather than a one-time craft activity.
