Description
Math for Love – Prime Climb is an engaging board game that combines strategy and arithmetic skills in a colourful, vibrant setting.
To set up, each player chooses a character piece and places it at the starting position on the board’s outer ring.
The game revolves around the numbers on the board, which are brightly coloured, with prime numbers represented in a distinct colour.
At the beginning of each turn, players roll two dice.
- The total rolled is the number of spaces a player can move their piece.
- Players can move their pieces in any direction on the board, and
- they can choose to add or subtract the numbers rolled for flexibility in movement, allowing for strategic planning.
As players advance, they may land on different coloured prime number spaces, which offer special benefits, including drawing Prime cards that can either help the player or hinder opponents.
Players can also “bump” opponents back to start if they land on the same space as them.
This adds a competitive edge to the game, encouraging players to strategically plan their moves while also being cautious of their opponents’ positions.
The objective is to reach the centre of the board first, navigating through obstacles and leveraging arithmetic operations to your advantage.
Prime Climb is not only about mathematical calculations; it’s about using strategy to outsmart your opponents, making it a fun and educational experience for players of all ages!
