Family Bradypodidae. Found in Honduras to Northern Argentina.

The Sloth's head is round, and its neck is quite long, with small ears and eyes.

The coat is bristly dense and grey-brown, with white-orange markings on the back.

They reach about 2 feet long with a short tail and weigh 9 – 10 pounds.

They live entirely in trees. The gestation period lasts approximately 6 months.
